My dad bought this turquoise ring in Mexico when he was 17 years old. I loved it since I was a little kid. He’d always let me put it on my own fingers even though at the time they were much too small. Around when I turned 17, he gave it to me as a surprise by having me hold out my hand. He’s 60 now, and I’ll be 27 soon. It’s one of my favorite things.
